Wizzl is free communication software which will allow you and your friends to make free voice and video calls over the internet, and calls to local and international phones and mobiles from only 1.5 Eurocents per minute. And it doesn't stop there; with Wizzl's all-in-one virtual phone, Wizzlers will have direct access to live TV, internet radio stations and the most popular web games around. Personal photographs, music and videos will also be at users' fingertips.

How much does Wizzl cost?

Nothing. Wizzl software really is free of charge.

Is it possible to get a new Wizzlname?

No, in this phase of development it's not possible to get a new Wizzlname (so if 'Fluffy Bunny' is something you'll tire of quickly perhaps it's best avoided!). You can, on the other hand, change you screenname and select the way that you appear in the contact lists of your contacts at any time.

How can I make free internet calls?

Select the Wizzler in your contact list. Click on the computer icon behind the Wizzler's name and click on the green 'Call' button to initiate the call.

Can I make emergency calls with the Wizzl software?

It is not advised to call emergency numbers with the Wizzl software. Remember one of the preliminary terms of the EULA, stating that: 'By entering into this License Agreement, you expressly acknowledge, understand and accept that neither Wizzl software nor any and all (payable) Wizzl services provided through or in conjunction with Wizzl software, such as the payable communication service WizzlOut, are intended to support or carry emergency calls to the emergency services and that neither Wizzl software nor any and all (payable) Wizzl services can be considered to be a traditional telephone service or a replacement for your primary telephone service. Important distinctions (some, but not necessarily all, of which are described in this License Agreement) exist between the traditional telephone service and the features or functions and applications that may be explicitly provided by Wizzl through or in conjunction with Wizzl software.'

Which headset and/or Webcam is best?

Wizzl functions with almost any good installed headset or webcam from any brand. Some brands have their own drivers and these drivers are supplied as a CD-ROM or can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website.

Where do I buy Wizzl credits?

Click on the 'Actions' button in the top menu and click on 'Buy Wizzl credits'. Use your Wizzlname and password to log on to 'MyAccount'. Choose 'Buy Wizzl credits'. Follow the instructions on the screen.

OK, so how do I download and install Wizzl?

Step 1: Just click here.
Step 2: Click on 'Download' and select 'Run'.
Step 3: Click 'Run' if you see a security warning.
Step 4: Wizzl will begin downloading.
Step 5: Click 'Run' if the download is complete. Click 'Continue' if any other window shows.
Step 6: The Wizzl Beta Setup window will show. Proceed to continue installing Wizzl. After you have finished the Wizzl Beta Setup, Wizzl will automatically start.

You need to enter your personal info.

Step 1: Insert your Wizzlname. You will need your Wizzlname to log in. (Remember that your Wizzlname can't be changed at a later date, so make it a good one!).
Step 2: Insert your password. For security reasons make sure to combine your password with capitals letters and numbers, for example 'W1zZlt3St'.
Step 3: Confirm your password.
Step 4: Select 'Mask password' to make sure that if you are on a public computer nobody will be able to see your password.
Step 5: Insert your email address. Wizzl will confirm your Wizzlname and password by email.
Step 6: Insert your screen name. You can change your screen name when you like.
Step 7: Select your country.
Step 8: Select your language.
Step 9: Selecting 'Show in Wizzl address book' will enable your friends and family to find you by your Wizzlname or your screen name.
Step 10: Click 'OK' to confirm that you're happy with your personal info.

How do I invite my friends to join me in my Wizzling?

Get your buddies to download Wizzl at www.wizzl.com. Don't forget to exchange Wizzlnames with them. Once you have added them to your contacts list you will be able to enjoy making free voice and video calls to each other straight away.

And how do I add new contacts to my contact list (hey, I like to be organized!)?

Step 1: Click on the 'Communication'- button.
Step 2: Click on 'Add'. The 'Add contact' window will appear.
Step 3: Enter the exact Wizzlname in the field below 'Enter a Wizzlname' to add your contact.
Step 4: Enter text into the insert field 'Personalize your request'.
Step 5: Click 'OK' to finish. Your fellow Wizzler has been added to your contact list.
Now you just have to wait for them to confirm their permission.
